Srinath Batni served as a member of the Board of Directors at Infosys from 2000 to 2014. Since he joined Infosys from June of 1992, he has held various positions from project management to heading key business units. As a Board Member, he was responsible for delivery excellence across the company.

He was also a member of the Infosys Foundation trust and the Employees Welfare Trust. During his tenure at Infosys, he served as a member of the Executive Council of NASSCOM helping the software industry of India. Srinath also serves as a non-executive Board Member Member in Axiscades Ltd, an engineering product development company in the aerospace industry and Global Edge Software Ltd, a software product development company in the telecom industry.

Srinath received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mysore University and a masters degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He plays a key role at his alma mater – NIE Mysore as the President of the Management Committee
